Our "PLAYGROUND"
The signature of this village is of course, its extremely beautiful beaches and the fishing activities.
The bustling marketplace
The most happening place in the town, is the marketplace. One can find everything from dried fish, to beautiful coloured fabrics and glass bangles, to the black muslim women dresses, to exquisite indian jewelleries...and of course food.
Along the streets
It is a common sight to see cows gazing along the streets. Perhaps the cow, (on the bottom right) was trying to drink from the well!
This vehicle is probably unique to India. It's called an automobile, the most convenient means to travel around the village, with very helpful "cabbies".
